Default Youe opinion please about an EF thing

    Hi;

So, umm, if some of you remember a few month back I told you about
the promoter of our European tour taking off with $15,000 of our money
    the last day.

Well, our fans and other donated a lot of money to us to help us out, cause
it really hurt the other guys in the band who were relying on that money to pay for their rent and groceries and bills.

Anyways, I gave all that money to the rest of the band and I got nothing.

Of the money I gave them, I was still short $3,500 of their end (3 of them)
    and $5,000 of my share.

So, I've been working on finding ways to make that money back somehow, cause I'm in a bind paying for some big home bills in order to pay the rest of the band first.

I'd really like your opinion if you think this idea would work:

I see authors auctioning on ebay the chance to have a character in a book named after the winning bidder.

What if EF wrote a song about who ever wins the auction at Ebay and records it, giving that person some small fame forever?

DO you think this is a dorky idea or do you think this would be a good way to make that money back and give someone a chance to have fun?

Please let me know, cause I am on the verge of some big problems financially.

For a true fan of the band, that would be cool.

how about auction a chance for someone to tour with the band, like to be a roadie? they have to pay their own way course but they get to help and hang out and learn.

Nah, that would make me responsible for their safety, plus would take up space that we often don't have.

Cause I got vacation pay while on tour, they don't.
I offered to do it, it was my decision, they work for me, it's my responsibility that they are taken of.

I think its a cool idea... also think its cool you are looking out for your band and these days any amount could help so why the hell not. I dont think you'll get thousands of dollars but go for it

Come on I need more people's opinions, even if you are not familiar with EF,
just if you think people would bid on this.

I'd have to start the bidding at $300, to cover the cost of recording the song.
