Default Guitar solo on "Talk to ya later"

Man - that guitar solo on the Tubes "Talk to Ya Later" still rips my face off, like, 25 years later.

    Bill Spooner, right?

I goota agree Dennis. That solo is awesome and so is that album. I had that on cassette and it was a favorite one summer when I was a lifeguard. Another great solo is "My Sharona" about 2:50 in. It really is damn fine and gets overlooked, but it's pretty damn sweet.

Might be Lukather on the solo. I know he co-wrote it, anyway...

I'm still confused as to David Foster being involved with the band.

25 years ago, he was just getting started, wasn't he? Pre Pete Cetera and all the pablum that would come...

Or was this record a fluke for him?
