    Default emulsion

    alrite im guna get a new emulsion i have been using ulan fx-88 sr but its 50 bucks so i did some research and found these two emulsions at a local screen shop so which one do i get

    DZ 307 - Diazo Photoemulsion

    or

    DC 521 - Dual Cure Photoemulsion

    i think the dz 307 would better from what i have read but im still kinda new so what do u guys think

    ulano fsx-88 for me. $48 a gallon isn't too bad for something i know works everytime.

    There are too many unknown variables to give an accurate answer.
    I use QTX at $88/gal. and it's worth every penny for my set-up.

    Murikami 9800 has been good to me....

    I have no idea re the DC or the DZ, never heard of them, never tried them....is it a re - label job for the local supplier?

    are you only printing WB inks? then IF the DZ is rated for WB only, you could go for it.

    Are you printing WB and plastisol? Then get the DC IF it is rated for WB and solvent based ink systems.

    ...the satisfaction from a quality product lasts a lot longer than the thrill you get from saving a buck....

    im using naz dars so there solvent based thats y i narrowed it down to these two so what now...its not a re-labe either...i never really heard of image mate before thatt i checked out there web site and it seems to be pretty good

    Go with the dual cure if the price is the same, the photopolymer component will give you a sharper stencil and it will probably last a bit longer.
