    hoo-boy,

My guilty pleasure can only be indulged while Jeff is out of the house.... chick music. Maria McKee, Shawn Colvin, Beth Orton, Michelle Shocked, Sinead, Paula Cole, Tracy Bonham,Indigo Girls, Sara Mclachlin, Liz Phair, Tori Amos... even Carole King, Janis Joplin, Ella Fitzgerald & Joni Mitchell. I'll even throw in Cheryl Crow or Allanis Morisette occasionally. Too many to name now that I really think about it...

Best mixed with copious quantities of spendy cabernet savignon....

    Hmmmm, guilty pleasures:

Michael Jackson (That white boy can dance!), Madonna, The Cure (sob.), Joe Satriani, Whitesnake (hellz yeah!), Def Leppard, and the biggest one and probably one of my favorite bands of all time: Depeche Mode.

Yah, that Michael Jackson special a few weeks ago was amazing, but I kept getting scared that his face was going to fall off on the front row........

Still that would have been kind of cool if during the show a piece of his face started to peel off and you could see circuitry under it and then all of a sudden he ripped the whole thing off and revealed that he was a robot and began mowing down all the famous people with twin gatling guns that emerged from his shoulders after activating them with a well-placed crotch grab........of course yelling "Hoooooooooo!!!!!!!" the whole time. I need to lay off the anime.

Not to get off your subject, but what about guilty pleasures in movies also?

Midnight Madness, Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon, Showgirls (would make a great drinking game, like one entire beer for every time Elizabeth Berekely overacts. People would pass out ten minutes into the movie.)
