Thread: Conveyor Dryer

  1. #1

    Default Conveyor Dryer

Okay, so I'm sick of using my oven to cure the plastisol that I'm using to do T-shirts. I can't afford to buy a conveyor dryer and it takes too long to do more than a couple of shirts in the oven. Does anyone have any plans that I can use to make a conveyor dryer myself? Any alternatives for curing would be cool too.

On this site there is an idea for a ghetto one or you can brain storm and build a flash cure.

I would think the cost of making one would be close enough to the cost of getting a used one (I got a 9' dryer in canada for around $2200) unless you have your own metal working tools and such. Seems like a lot of work for a piece of equipment that's not that expensive

Sweet site. Right now all of my equipment is homemade (and works great). I don't have much of a budget, so $2000 is a lot of money. If I can make it for less, then it's much better for my situation.
