    Default Warped Squeegees

So I got these cheap ass Neoprene squeegees from Dick Blick and the blades are fucking warped...I think. The blade material is pretty flimsy and there's not straight at all. What possible problems will I run into when I print with these?

seriously, I've never heard of this.
I'd think that the pressure from printing would straighten it,
but the "flimsiness" could be an issue. You're going to be laying down a LOT of ink and image sharpness could be a problem.
I use a 70 durometer squeegee for posters.

70 square edge for thin deposits of ink curved for thicker.... and remember to store it with the handle down

hate to break it to you but neopreme (black rubber) squeegees are the cheapest of the cheap, the Windows 3.1 of squeegee material, and don't work very well. The better blade material is translucent and coloured, made of some weird space age plastic, and the blades are usually around 3/8" thick.

See if you can return them, and get some wood or metal squeegee handle and blade material from Process Supply or one of the other texas based screen supply houses. I use mostly 70-75 duro - any softer and it bends and falls apart too quick (edge crumbles), any harder and it won't flex and fill irregular paper surfaces.
