    Can you use Mineral Sprits to thin Nazdar 9700 series ink in a pinch? help please

    Do not add bleach to Nazdar 5500 base.

    It creates a toxic gas.

    bite the bullet, and get the 9700 ink thinner. I tried mineral spirits once, and it didn't help.

    What he (they) said. Specific thinnners for any of the specialty plastic inks. Even if it mixes, it can affect adhesion. Nothing stupider than peeling ink. True story
