    Default How to separate....

So I designed this as a full color thing for the GP card deck but now I'm looking at it and wondering how I would go about separating it if I wanted to make an art print. Which I might...

There are alot of color overlays and shit to get some of the effect so I gues I've kind of stumped myslef.

    Suggestions?

I'd say make it three colors; red, green and off-white, on a yellow sheet. Print the red first, the green over the top of that (transparent) and then the off white over both of those with only a little water or tx base so a little bit of the green and red come through. Use the green and red overprint to make your browns in the upper-right corner.

    Would that work?

This would be rad with 3-4, translucent split-fountains.

what about the orange in the lower right? would you just print a fine halftone in the red?

Index sep, do it about 10 or 12 colors. That would make a hot art print!

Index seps are crap and are for amateur t-shirt printers who think they ae high end.

I could probably sep that..but I'd have to see a file. Depending o how your file is set up it coulld be really easy or really difficult.
