Does any body really do this, and does it work?
I have a 3000. I use Posjet film. if I used it more often it would print better, but the posi's are fine.
I sell the Posjet film in Canada, and I have a number of customers who go through it pretty quick, and they are using a bunch of different printers (1280, 1530, 3000. 7600)
Are you using the standard ink for the Epson or do you buy that special order super-opaque black ink?Originally Posted by Andymac

I think this really comes down to how much you use your printer, if you use it all the time, the heads stay clean, and the bulk is an affordable option. I need to take a primer on ripping the machine open and cleaning the heads from inside. they gum up.
i use Posjet film with an Epson 3000. i use 17x22" film. It is amazing. Beats the heck out of tiling for 16x20" images. It will print on that stuff with about a 1/4" margin, or so. i was using special laser film before, but the inkjet produces a much darker posi. No more crystal clear!
i just got a free 1520 off craigslist, thinking about trying the posjet stuff soon.
