    Default crit/advice needed

I'm thinking of doing this poster for my band. The date hasen't been set yet so I'm under no kind of deadline. I would like to do it in the photo-screen technique (which I have not tried yet). So what I'm wondering is what color should I put down first, Is the design ok or should I try something more simple?

The blank cirkles at the botom is where the date will be

If its your first print It might be abitious to jump in at 4 colours, so much to go wrong in 4 screens lol

I may be talking out of my ass tho as Ive only just started printing myself

Have you consider screening back the circles into the background. As it is now, it seems to be competing with your image of the car.

Also, I am not sure if the letters inside the circles looks cool. Try puting them somewhere else.

    My 2 pennies.

Thanks for the feedback! I tried puting the car up front but I didn't realy like how it looked. It looked a litle too bold to me, but who knows, things never look the same on paper as they do on screen so i guess I'l just experiment

yeah man, that's some tricky registration. if those circles are off by even a fraction of a centimeter it'll look bad.
    good luck.

I've got one little comment about the type choice. I'd look at a different one, something looks more at home in a circle. Those letters are relatively narrow and rectangular. If you can find something that is rounder, go with it.

The blue perspective streak behind the car could use a little more flare, and thats it. Otherwise I'd say right on.

although it might be against normal guidelines, i would print the red first before the orange. That way you can get better trapping between them. Maybe make the red cover completely behind the circles. then it's way easier to just cutout the area in the orange for the red type at the bottom. I guess you'd just have to make that the orange is really opaque.

but yeah, after that: blue, then black.

"I guess you'd just have to make that the orange is really opaque. "

    or a somewhat transparant yellow.
