Default Do you sell a lot of your own logowear?

Meaning would you be better off just selling custom designed shirts or does designing garments with your logo on them sell pretty good? And the side question: What would make you NOT want to buy someone's else's logowear?

Both times I've made Squad19 logo T's they've sold out eventually. They didn't fly off the shelves mind you.

I buy logo merch if I like the brand AND the art. It MUST be both. (for me)

From my experience on the wholesale, and retail side of clothing, I've found that you should offer both "logo-driven" designs and "forward-driven" designs (two different customers).

If you can't do one of each, I suggest doing a forward-driven design unless you already have an established name/brand (I've sold more shirts to folks based on the artwork, and they could honestly care less who made it).

The exception to that is if you're using the shirt strictly as promos (free or hella cheap), then do a logo driven design.

But if you're talking about launching a clothing brand, you need at least 8 designs, and I'd make the logo-driven/forward-driven ratio about 3:5.

our shirts sell pretty good, maybe 2 or 3 a week?

Does sound like non logo stuff would sell better though.
