    Default An Introduction

    Hey everyone,
Just want to say hi to all. Im new to the site and to poster printing. I have been screen printing for a couple of years now (caps, tshirts, jackets). I am interested in poster/art printing for more of a hobby and just for fun for myself as another creative outlet. I have been reading/lurkin around for a few days and already have found a wealth of info here. Not to mention all of the great art! Maybe I can come up with a question that hasnt been asked yet or maybe help somone out with a question?

    anyways

See you guys around the forum

"An artwork is normally assessed in quality by the amount of stimulation it brings about. The impact it has on people, the number of people that can relate to it, the degree of their appreciation, and the effect or influence it has or has had in the past, all accumulate to the 'degree of art.' Most artworks that are widely considered to be "masterpieces" possess these attributes." - Frank Kozik

    Welcome!
What are you looking to find here? Printing tips? Where to get cheap equipment? Who makes the BEST bacon? It's all here, but may be buried in pork jokes and witty banter. Take some time and search through old threads, and ask questions. We're smart asses, but we mean well. If I can help you out with any info, drop me a line.

Well, thanks for the warm welcome

    I do have a question...

I have been reading around about vacuume<sp?> table's here. I have a 6/6 manual press (lawson) and would like to add a removable vacuume platen to one of the stations for posters and such. I have removable cap platens and removeable shirt platens and would like to add a vacuume platen that I could remove when I do shirts and caps. Make sense? anyone have pix/plans of one? or any advise?

    Thanks
