WB on textiles is not only hip as fuck and in demand as companies demand more eco products (hey kids! who want to wear vinyl?!?!?hands up!) but they should know...all printed textiles - you know, what shirts and most fashions are made from - are printed with waterbased dyes.
It's too bad the gigantic textile industries we had in North America up until the trade barriers came down got flushed down the toilet so quickly....maybe the ability to work on textiles with WB would have survived as a dominant print method....instead the textillions got to learn to walk again.
I agree. I don't have much experience in printing, but over the summer im putting together a small set up to print flatstock with WB inks. I feel pretty confident after lurking on here and purchasing some literature that will help me in my print attempts. I suppose we will see when I get my first prints off the homemade press.
