    Default flatstock 3? 4? 5? 6?

i got something in the works for montreal.
i guess it would be in april or may or june cause that's when it gets warm.
the venue is into it and not charging a cent.
we are working with a promoter we do lots of stuff for as well as the guys who put on the zine fest, wanna get good, big bands to play the event . (we are thinking fugazi cause they draw a large and varied crowd. of course we will need to contact em.)
the place is about the same size as cell space.
    and is centrally located.
    anybody interested?

no it's gonna be at least a few months after texas..
i was hopping to do april cause students would still be in town but it's probably better for everyone wanting to attend to wait a bit.
as well, summer means more bands will be touring.
there is pretty big support for this kinda thing here.
    it should be good.
i know buddy lee is planning something for toronto as well.
he does the zine fair there and it's ALWAYS a hit.

Canaduh would rule. Consider this. How many people can make a trip like we all did on a regular basis? Twice a year? Three times? How many events happen every year like SXSW? Some chatter has been going around to have it Biannually and it makes sense to me.

My point about SXSW has nothing to with me being in Austin it has to do with the tremendous amount of industry exposure that is in one place annually. What I'm getting at is if there is no other event equivalent to SXSW exposure wise should we consider having one here every year and one that moves?

I know that I prolly could not make it to another Flatstock if it happened in June. Too close to SXSW.

besides, not everyone needs to make it too each one..
i thingk we should think big.
many people on the east cost who didn't make it to sf and proibably can't make it to austin..
