    Default Four color process CMYK

Just had a quick question before I go experiment, maybe you guys can save a little hassle.

I'm going to be running an image in four color process, wherein I already separated the channels and halftoned them independently. When I go to print, I guess I am going to print Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and black last. Just wondering if I should run transparent extender base in the M,Y and K, or will the print come out alright at full opacity?

    Your order is wrong.

    Cyan is third.

I say print Yellow first. Some people say print magenta first. I always go yellow. Anyways...

Do you have real process inks or do you have inks that kinda mtch the colors of real process inks.

With real process inks I always start 100% and see how that looks. If need be I'll add base to the inks, depending on what I think.

Theory behind process printing is that the inks are treansparent.

Thanks Richie. That was a total brain fart with the order, I should know better to go lighter -> darker. I'm using Speedball acrylics, which are labeled as Process, however I don't often overprint with those particular inks so I can't attest to their opacity. I'll just give it a shot at 100% and see where that lands me.

    Thanks again,

    Mike
