    Default frozen photo emulsion...

someone turned my fridge up high enough to freeze two gallons of photo emulsion solid. anyone know if the emulsion is still good after it thaws? the consistancy of it has changed it into almost jelly, anyone?

I've heard that it would be worthless after freezing.
But, I've never done it myself.....

stir it up good, cross your fingers, and try it out.

yeah, try it, you have nothing to lose. I had some freeze in the Yukon (Autotype 8000 dual cure I think) and it worked ok.

Stirr the hell out of it after bringing it into room temp for a while.

Hey, did that frozen emulsion work?

I recently froze mine too. I think I turned up the cold for one of those hurricanes and when it came time to coat a screen there was a chunk of solid blue emulsion waiting.

    Thanks.

The Ulano that I froze a while back did not work after I thawed it, washed right out.
