    Default positives from kinkos?

I've been making my positives with transparencies through an inkjet printer. I tape them all back together and it works. But i want to see what else is out there. Has anyone tried having kinkos print transparenies from file? Not from the photocopier. I want to know what the opacity is like. Can they do bigger than 8.5x11 so I don't have to tape them all back together? Cost? I'm looking to get out on the cheap side of things. And I don't want to mess with that oily paper mess either.

If they have an OSE machine you can give them files and have them print them on vellum that you bring in.
If they have half a brain, that is.

The smallest they can charge for is 24 X 36. $2.50

The oily paper isn't all that messy if you're not a slob about it.

It's what I do 90% of the time. No problems. (or I should say very rarely)

You might call around to printing places that do blueprints. I take my stuff to a blueprint place that does a lot of that and other large format output and they print it onto vellum for me all nice and cheap. Last set I took in were about four bucks for three 13" x 20" prints. And then the lady smells the vellum and tells me how it smells like cedar, and that she's allergic to cedar.

Yeah, she always seems to be interested in what I bring in, cuz for once it's not houses and strip malls and the lot. But, that does give me some ideas...
