Default Advice on punctures and tears?

One of my screens now has small puncture/tear (maybe .8 cm across at its largest?), 'cause a piece of glass I was holding slipped and fell. What should do about this? I do recall reading somewhere that one should patch the puncture with a certain type of tape and then work around it, but I don't know what tape this is or where to find it.

At least this was a fairly unimportant screen, that I will soon use very little! Still, I'd like to know what a good and proper procedure for dealing with this is.

if it's not too close to the image area i would just use some duct tape.

in my opinion you'd be better off getting it restretched sooner rather than later.

Duct tape will work for a very long time if it is a small tear. A small piece on each side. You have to get your emulsion out first though and that is often times when the tear gets bigger.
