Default Any thoughts on updating Gigposters.com?

I'm worn out by Facebook - left last week. I miss the community that was supporting this website, I wish there was a way it would come back life like it was before Zuckerberg screwed it all up. Any thoughts about updating it, make it mobile friendly, higher res photos? The thing I miss about the forum/thread nature of engagement is there is less filtering here. The good stuff and the bad stuff always got through and that made it real. Facebook it too selective and divisive.

I keep up with Facebook stuff just because I'm trying to get my name out there, but none of the groups I'm a part of there have the vibe that this place used to have. Too many whiny collectors, not enough artists and printers.

I'm in the same boat you are, u6crash. I'm on a bunch of groups on Facebook, but it's really just like the same 10 people posting about their awesome collections they never have time to frame and bitching that the scene isn't what it used to be.

Cool beans about DeKalb, btw. I was born in Sycamore and lived in between the two cities for a long time. Still have a lot of family up there.

Small world! My junior year at NIU I skipped out of class and drove 8.5 hours to catch a show at the Blue Note in Columbia.

you guys sure you don't want to continue to complain about the dinged edges or minor scuffs on one of the foil variants of your many willy wonka posters?

That's awesome! Which show was it? There's a pretty good chance I was there.

It's just such a disappointment. I mean, when I purchase something printed on PAPER and have it MAILED to me I really expect it to be as mint as the day it was printed. It's a shame some people can't keep the quality of their work up. /s
