I am looking for suggestions. I am thinking of taking the gigposters.com technology that I have built here... and creating another site.

I am looking for an entirely different art genre. (preferably catagorizable). I am no expert, so any suggestions would be great.

    A few of my ideas:

    -Movie posters
    -Advertising of some sort?
    -Toys
    -Magazine covers
    -Book cover art?
    -Album cover art

I am hoping to build a community like we have here. Please let me know what you think.

    Album covers or toys...
There's this one dude I know around here who's got a vested interest in toys...

If you want a steady stream of submissions, definitely go with Album art. There's too many toy & ad websites as it is.

Thanks for the input guys! I think that would be the logical sister site. I just thought I'd throw out the idea and see what everyone came up with.

I have just registered http://www.albumcovers.org ! Gimme a few weeks to set it up and then I will let everyone know when its ready.

I think the only good one would be the film posters. There is a HUGE collector market for movie posters. The other ones are not really that widespread. You got some that are interested but ion order to make the site a success you'll need a broad base.... inother words the movie posters is the only one on the list that makes sense.

Good points piemel. Looks like our new sister might need a brother. Call me crazy .. but I just registered:

    http://www.movieposterart.com

This will be #3 .. but I will not be building it right away.. must construct the sister first.

    CALL ME CRAZY!!! Mwahahaha!!!!
