    I use latex house paint. what do people use to make the paint,err ink, transparent? speedball?

    You want to add something called Floetrol (Home DEpot)
    It slows the drying time as well as adding transparency.
    Also, Speedball Transparent base.

    Speaking of transparency…what can you use if you want a spot varnish? Would straight gloss gel medium work? i have been meaning to try this.
