I'm working on separating an 11x17 300 dpi flat file in photoshop for printing transparencies. Is it normal for there to be jagged edges viewed at 100% on screen? Like threshold jagged? Sorry if this is a stupid question.
re: the white line when zoomed to certain screen sizes - as long as it looks correct at 100% zoom you should be good. I get this in photoshop all the time too, I think it has to do with how the program redraws files for faster loading.. but it won't affect printing.
When people ask me to output films I charge $15 per foot of film that comes out of the printer (but at your size I would be able to do 2 films at a time, so $15 for 2). People have to cover their overhead yaknow. If you want cheaper than buy your own printer.
