Default Metallic Black water-based ink for flatstock?

    Hey friends.

We have a client looking to achieve a metallic black. We're a water-based only shop and were looking for some tips. Any products out there? Tricks? Mixes?

    Best,
    Nick

get some pearlescent powder and dump that shit in. the more powder, the better (to a point), and we also found if you print a couple of layers it sparkles more.

kind of a gunmetal look. it greys the black out.

Overprint black with an iridescent. You cannot mix glitters and metals into the black without the black pigment killing the effect
