I put an ad in. USA customers can order through the classified on Gigposters (once it is up) but for foreign orders (including Canada...we ship from the USA) use the link to the Squeegeeville big cartel store above.
Good to hear. I'll fix that shipping charge. Interested to hear 'your favorite part' or things you really like as you go through. I love the side stories about the different characters who made inventions. We got a note from the grand daughter of Louis D'Autrement, the guy who invented knife cut film and revolutionized stencil making - Ulano ended up with it. see below:
Thank you so much for the book "A History of Screen Printing" which arrived late yesterday in the mail.
I am so happy. I love seeing Grandpa (Louis D"Autremont) finally get credit for what he did.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for thinking of me and sending me the book.
What a very nice surprise to receive it.
I have only just looked through it and will begin to read your history of screen printing soon.
Guido, you DID A SUPERB job on the book. You must be very proud.
I will thank you in writing, but wanted to send this right now. Is your address still the same?
And when you see the work done by Gilbert Tonge in the 1920s in California - this is the guy who really invented the 'fine art print' using screenprinting, and his shit is off the chart - his grandaughter (and daughter up to a year ago, she died at age 95 in the local old folks home- she lives close by to us up here on lala land, on another island. Small world.
