    I like the Calexico illustration. Cool sky.

    The Codeine design is too literal IMO. The song it references is about hopelessly trying to catch a female friend on the rebound; sweet but pathetic; simultaneously innocent and creepy. It has much more complexity than just hearts and wine.

    I agree with your opinion about the Codeine design. It was my first approach with this type of work and I am focused on an interesting image to draw, the lyric was a starting point.
    But I tried to catch the atmosphere of the song with the other illustrations. I know there is a qualitative difference.
