    Super lame, should have gotten permission, but he did redraw them, so they're not actual rips. More "in the style of" or "inspired by". I wonder if anyone here can relate to that?
    Also, a friend of mine pointed out that Jim Philips based a bunch of his work on Virgil Finlays designs. There's some irony for you. Here's one of many:

    when i first read this my initial thought was it's not like the skateboarding industry hasn't "borrowed" from a lot of other sources. but who can tell who had permission? remember the droors series of shirts with their logo done as another company's logo?


    and joe, that'll solve a whole laundry list of problems for me!
