Shaw was just the start too. Hossa had something wrong with a disc in his back so his right leg was numb when he skated. Bickel had a second degree knee sprain from the Detroit series. Bergeron had a bruised or broken rib with loose cartilage and a partially separated shoulder. And that's just from these two teams...oh yeah, Campbell staying on the ice with a broken leg against the pens. I'm the Bruins had a lot more injuries but aren't going to come and out tell all of them and make it sound like excuses.
Big props to the Blackhawks training staff. I would say a big reason they did is well as they did is because of them. Being able to stay "healthy" thru the playoffs is huge.
