One of our own, Chris Lands (surrenderart) is in NJ, in the thick of this whole thing. Not sure if he's posted this here already, but I'm gonna spam y'all with this, even if he did. Re-post this, share the link, whatever....

    SurrenderArt - Hurricane Sandy Relief

"All proceeds from this print will benefit the victims of 2012 Hurricane Sandy. Proceeds will go to the American Red Cross and to local New Jersey Shore charities. This area is my home, but, everything i loved about it is gone. My family was very fortunate to come out of it okay and still have a home. Time to give back. There is NO maximum number of prints per order, please order as many as you can. This is an OPEN edition until printing occurs and then a run # will be given. All prints will be signed and numbered and shipped in a timely manner. $40 shipped within the US, $50 shipped everywhere else. I have been doing "relief" work of this type for years, starting back at 9/11, during the Tsunami efforts, Hurricane Katrina, and many others- this time it has hit my home."

We escaped to Brooklyn the morning after. Here's a look at the blacked out skyline below 31st street from Williamsburg.
Still can't believe the coastal damage. Our thoughts go out to those hit hard.

These storms are really unpredictable and dangerous. My car too was damaged completely as the uprooted tree fell on it. Many of my friends incurred huge damages.
