    Default great tech articles

This website has some great articles about troubleshooting and quality control; emphasis on flat-stock printing.

The author (Mike Young) has also published a book called "The Register Guide", a bit pricey, but goes into substrate, screen prep, tensioning, squeegee details, press setup, printing, troubleshooting, etc., in more detail than you would expect; the focus being on flat stock printing. Some of the articles mentioned above are derived from the book. The book is not listed on the web site; you will have to e-mail him (contact info on his web site) for ordering details. I saved a boatload of $$ discovering and fixing stuff I was doing (and about to do) wrong from the information in the book.

Mike knows his shit. Next level guy. Got to spend 3 days last year working with him at SGIA in NO last fall. Felt like a kindergarden kid sometimes with him and some of the other ASPT guys.

Those links are some of the most detailed I think I've ever read on some of the minute details I either typically naively ignore, or take for granted that it 'just works'. I really learned a lot from them! Thanks for the link!

Does anyone know another way to get a hold of this book? I tried emailing Mike on his website and never heard back. I would love to get my hands on this.
