I think you have a pretty tough sell on your hands there, kid.

That and "Hey, will you draw my kids?" are (in my experience at least) the most frequent, politely declined offers of my career as an 'artist'.

Eric- you don't want to post your email address like that in a message board. You'll get a lot of spam. Also, having drawn several comic books, I can tell you that you're asking someone to devote a solid month to produce one issue of a book. That's at least a $3500 job.
BUT- you're a kid, get a buddy to work with you, it cant' be that hard.
Yes. That is me wearing a Borat thong in my avatar.

Alex is right. Find another 15 year old and be partners, 50/50.

Also - make sure & write those ideas down, with as much detail as you envision. You never know who might be interested in a good script. And if possible, don't give away your work.

Best of luck to you, don't give up.

Eric - I've worked professionally for Marvel, DC and Image comics almost twice as long as you've been alive.

My advice to you, listen to the man in the Borat thong.

Now that I think about it, I would buy the shit out of a hyper-violent comic book made by two 15 year olds. Make it. NOW.

My cousin and I started a company called Computer Fun® back when we were 11 yo. This was around the time the Commodore 64 first came out. We developed a screen saver fireworks program and a pixel game called Minotaur Chase with 12 ever increasing levels of difficulty. It was a lot of work and we only ever managed to sell one bit of software to somebody that was not family. Still I learned some valuable lessons and had some fun. So just do it

If you and a buddy can produce a comic book at 15 then I would imagine you have a future in said field. That takes a ton of hard work and devotion. Like everyone said up there...make it happen. I entered this board imagining that people would be giving you a hard time...to my delight everyone seems to want to encourage it and give great advice.

p.s. I would read a comic made by two 15 year olds as well...as long as there is a lot of blood and flesh.
