Default Corrigan/Cynics Split EP Process (Live-ish, from digs).

Hey all. My plan for this weekend is to print 100 covers for the Corrigan/Cynics Acoustic Split EP I'm putting out in a few weeks. I'm doing this from my bedsit so forgive any mess. I'll try and update after every stage, or as in the first post, during.

I'm exposing as I type. 10 lamp from amazon is doing the honours. 31 minute exposure.

Washout was fine, but have you noticed the schoolboy error? Great *rolls eyes*.

I'll paper that section off. The hair line will be fixed with some tape on the flat side.

    The Cynics from Pittsburgh?

You should make a new positive without the hairline and burn the screen again. All that tape right in the image area is going to cause you trouble printing. Better to start fresh.

Crosshair - Nah, Cynics is the name Giles Bidder is going under. His stuffs here:

Stones I've Thrown | Kill Your Own

The hairline was from the glass holding it down - I had to use two pieces and it just seeped through.

    Oldbox:

Yeah fine! Maybe 6-10 duffs out of 110ish. I'll get pics up by tonight.

Once I got my shit together we knocked them out in about 40 minutes. Some are little worn but overall, i'm happy with them.

Edit: That's all the screen printing for this release (although I might do some cassette sleeves next week) but I could carry this on til I actually release this a week on Monday. Your call.

    Congrats!

However I suggest you to use plastic tape and not paper tape, because the paper one seems to me to un-stick when ink reach it. And it's too thicker, creating a local off-contact.
