Default submissions - Quentin Tarantino vs. Coen Brothers art show in April

    Hi everyone,
Ken from Spoke Art here, a couple of you may already know me from EB or other forums, for those of you who don't (as this is my first post on Gig Posters), I run an arts company that puts on the occasional gallery show now and again.

Last October I curated a group show, "Bad Dads", a tribute to the films of Wes Anderson. You can check out the opening night video here and subsequent press here

This coming April, I've got a new pop-culture themed show coming up in New York City. The show is called "Quentin vs. Coen" and is a tribute to the films of Tarantino and the Coen Brothers. I've always heard that Gig Posters is a breeding ground for some damn fine talent, so figured I'd let ya'll know about the show and that I'm taking submissions. If you have any interest in participating, please shoot me an email at info(at)spokeart(dot)net. We have a pretty full roster so far and I can't say yes to everyone who submits, but please don't hesitate to let me know if you're interested or if you have any questions or comment.

Thanks a bunch, looking forward to becoming a part of the Gig Posters community!
    Ken.

    Welcome Ken,

This place has some if not the best talent on the web in my opinion. I would love to have a go at this, as the Coen bros films are my favorite films. I don't really have a proper website or location on the web of my work, but if you'd like to email me, i can shoot you some examples. z.landrum@gmail.com

i'm always curious about the ethics of doing something like this with or without getting permission from the subjects of the show. not saying it's wrong, just wondering about that.
