treme was pretty good, but it wasn't great. this is going to go against the grain for most people but i'm not a fan of new orleans. i wasn't before the hurricane / flood and i wasn't after. i was sorry to see history get washed away or drowned, but there were a lot of people that just treated it as a place to get drunk and see some naked boobs before the hurricane, then afterward they act like it was a holy shrine. i can only imagine how las vegas would be revisioned if a natural disaster hit it.

but treme tells that story too.

    anyways, back to boardwalk empire...

the people that live in New Orleans aren't the ones that treated like a place to get drunk and see boobs. tourists did that.

Pretty good first episode. Started a little slow but the 2nd half was really good. Guy getting shot in the woods was brutal but I couldn't help laughing. Liked what happened to the abusive husband.

Yeah, I liked it. Little nervous with title/intro and first couple minutes that it was going to look cartoony but I was happy with the look of it.

I'll be watching it every week, looks like it's going to be a solid show.
