Default What paper would you recommend for screen printing high quality gig posters on?

What brand and type of paper do you recommend for screen printing gig posters on?
Something that is acid free, and has some weight and substance to it.

I figure my gig posters will be in the 24 to 30 inch tall range.
I am using a large semi automatic press with a vacuum table.
The table has a printable area of 40 x 40. I don't plan on doing any gig posters that size, but maybe I can do some art prints that size some day.
    What do you recommend?

    Thanks,
    Jim

A lot of people around here use French Paper, they have a good selection (colors and finishes) but they tend to fade pretty bad if you actually plan on hanging them.

    Is this them?
Paper Lines - French Paper - America's family-run paper mill

    I don't see a spot for ordering 18 x 24 pieces of white.

Why is there a fading problem on French paper?

Is there a cheep online place that will sell a guy like me a big box with like 500 or a 1000 sheets of 18 x 24? Something nice and bright white, and heavy. What about bigger like 24 x 36? What is Emek and hot shots like that getting their large commemorative posters printed on? Or what if I want a custom sized piece of paper. Like 20 x 38? Do they sell 27 x 41 sized paper? Like one sheet size?

far as I know the french isn't rag or acid free. but you don't want to be doing gigposters on that rag shit, it's too expensive. Art prints yeah, but not starting out.

educate yourself to the common sheet sizes. Get to know a local offset printer. Go premium, support the site. You want to stick a straw in our brains, buck up bucko.
