Hey Chicago friends - my band (Killigans) is coming to you, Saturday. If you like punk rock music you should come. It's at a church basement so I don't think they are serving beer, maybe we can grab one after the show?

also- by your statement I take it there is not a lot to do around that area? restaurants or shops or anything?
we are going to be stopping by at Stacy McReynold's (do you know her? she's a photographer) place on the way there for a BBQ but it would be great to get some Chicago style deepdish later...

Not so desolate. There's a Giordano's nearby at 6314 S Cicero Ave.

sounds like a plan. I did google Street View and found a Nicky's Hot Dogs, like 2 blocks down... there really isn't much around there, a walgreens I guess...
