So I get to the venue, and this new band is opening for the Melvins. I'm completely wasted, and ready for a great show. Out comes this Long Hair Biker Dude, a Japanese Dude, and a blond midget woman! I started screaming SHes Got No Legs!! but, people started pounding on me, so I stopped yelling. This midget chick is the drummer, and I have no clue what the other two guys do, make noise and rock? Anyways the midget starts pounding on the drums, and then starts walking around! I was blown away. It was so weird, so strange, that it was completely awesome! Where do you find a midget drummer anways?

crossed paths with moss at the local hood party store prior to the detroit show. asked him if morning star rising was playing. his answer: "maybe".

they played. I think they caught the audience a little off guard. as was the intention.
all in all well done though. glad moss's "maybe" was a positive "maybe".
