I just bought my ticket ($30 and nearly $20 in fees. DAMN!) for the Saturday, September 20th show at the Warfield here in San Francisco. Who's going or who is going too see him?

I think you've gotta be in the mood for Nick Cave.
I was in a bar a few weeks ago & these guys played a bunch of Bad Seeds tunes, and after the second song, the place cleared out - literally cleared out. I would have left too, but I was waiting on food.
Not eating music.
But enjoy the show - in the right mood, Nick Cave is great stuff.
but fees always suck.
I'm always in the mood for Nick Cave.

he played austin a few years back, and i decided to not bother because i had heard his new work and didnt get it at all. like most tours, i figured this would be a 'new record' tour.
but, i heard after the show that he played bad seeds + plus birthday party stuff...old shit and he had a notebook to refresh his memory on the lyrics... not to mention the dirty three violinist.
enjoy.
he won't be playing at all soon enough.
In my opinion, unlike most nostalgia acts, he is almost getting more raw as he gets older. The Grinderman record was awesome.
I'd rather cut my feet off then go see Nick Cave

The new album is very good, has some of the GRinderman vibe to it. Check it out
