San Diego Artists/ Printers Uniiiiite

So after speaking to afew SD artists, it has been decided that we need to communicate, and work together, not against each other, to make the scene better.

I just set this up this morning, but there is a calendar feature so you can post dates you are doing posters for. This way there isnt the "I didnt know" excuse when 3 of us show up at a show with different posters.

I would also like to get regular emailed newsletters going, to inform each other of local art shows/ events

so SD artists go here and join (ill approve you as soon as i can):

This idea isnt mine, we stole it from the midwest (where everything good comes from). I think it will be the 1st in a series of tools/ actions to help organize and strengthen the Local music and art scene.

but you found it... after 4+ years we're movingtowards our own web site/forum and ditching yahoo but it sure is a handy way to start...

I felt that way too, so I did this up. its easy PM me if you want instructions, I will walk you through it. It took me (a computer noob) 10 minutes to set this up

i can never figure out those yahoo groups........... just assume i'm doing everything for the belly up..... and a few for house of blues....... mabey the occaisional casbah gig............ possibly one or two for hensley's flying elephant club.............

I dont touch belly up, I know that is your turf, but if you are doing anything at the casbah let me know so we dont double up on ya.
