Fu Manchu/Valient Thorr/Seemless

Tonight Fu Manchu, Seemless and Valient Thorr played Nashville at the Exit/In. Fu Manchu was really good. Really loud. Good mix of old and new.

I missed Seemless--the opening band. They seemed nice enough though. One of them may have swallowed some glass in some ice from the Green Room. And the signed contract they had on file stiffed them. Life on the road, eh?

But holy shit goddamn--Valient Thorr was fantastic. They played second and they just killed it for an hour. A damn fine example of rock'n roll. Valient, Eidan, Voiden, Lucian and the Doctor--I salute thee.

here's some pics from the Huntington, WV show the other night. Seemless was good. Fu was fucking awesome again. and Valient Thorr is one of the most entertaining bands i've seen in awhile. their singer is like if Jack Black and David Lee Roth had a child, mixed with a little WWF type persona. I giggled everytime he broke into one of his "Flashdance" type moves. if you haven't seen them, you gotta check them out sometime they are a lot of fun.

i think this DuDe woulda fucked the whole band. he jumped on stage. then later was escorted out for jumping on the stage with Fu Manchu, grabbing the mic and started screaming/singing garbled drunken nonsense.
