    No. They've got an animatronic McGowan now. It's almost as good as the real thing. It just doesn't slur as bad.

    the funny thing is when shane isnt singing and is talking between songs it just sounds like mar mmarr mar mmarmm amarrma nurr manar adoaggoogly bfooof but when hes actually singing you can understand him pretty well. my friend said its because when he talks, he has to come up with new things to say, and thats too much for his brain to handle nowadays, whereas all the songs were already written long ago.

    regardless, they were really fucking good in boston the other night.

    I'd say thats a bit of a stretch,, hes still pretty damn sharp and lucid despite his stream of conciousness rambling. I'd say hes able to project diferently when singing and the lack of teeth is what affects his regular speech. His brain is not as damaged as people make it out to be.
