No actual poster besides the one I made for practice:
but here's a review and a bunch of pics
I've been pumped up about this show for a while. Since Loafy turned me on to them however long ago, I've constantly had them in rotation. A band called Anthrophobia is on tour with them, and they played first. They were pretty cool. Strangely enough, I had an Artimus shirt on, and was bullshitting with guys from the abnds and were talking about how tehy were gonna be playing them. The bass player from Anthrophobia owns a clothing company called Bastards on Wheels that sponsors bmx, skating, etc, and he said he sponsors Artimus. Fucking weird coincidences. Cool guy though.
Anways, they opened up and we're pretty good. Then Year Long Disaster played. Only complaint is that it wasn't long enough. I think they did maybe 7 songs, I lost track. I know they did Victory at Sea, the Mad Shrew, Galeo Aponeurotica, and Desperate Thirst for a Cigarette. They closed with Cradle All and turned it into a big long meanass jam session. Very fucking cool. I hope this band avoids their past demons and stays clean and together, because they are really kickass.
Afterward them, a local band called Stone-Ka-Tet played. Holy crap. I was laughing so hard. As you can see in the pics below, the guy is like generic Danzig, only he had this retarded Hulk shirt on and it was tucked into his jeans. There was also some old bitches tehre for them as you can see in the pics, it was hilarious. Old ass bar-dancing beotch. The band sucked pretty bad too, so we left. I 'm glad they played last. Overall though, I had a great time and can't wait to see Year Long Disaster sometime again soon.
