    here is an interesting bit of info for you all.

    TURBONEGRO To Issue 'Scandinavian Leather' In April - Feb. 2, 2003

    Norway's TURBONEGRO — recently reformed after a four-year break — have set "Scandinavian Leather" as the title for their upcoming CD, due on April 28 through Sweden's Burning Heart Records. The cover art for the new album is going to be designed by Klaus Voormann, an artist and musician from Hamburg who received a Grammy Award for his work on THE BEATLES' "Revolver" album in 1966. In other news, TURBONEGRO will support QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE on a U.S. tour in March. Confirmed dates so far are as follows:

    Mar. 13 - House of Blues - New Orleans, LA
    Mar. 14 - New Daisy Theater - Memphis, TN
    Mar. 15 - 40 Watt Club - Athens, GA
    Mar. 17 - The Marquee Theater - Jacksonville, FL
    Mar. 18 - Culture Room - Ft. Lauderdale
    Mar. 19 - Twilight - Tampa, FL
    Mar. 20 - TBA
    Mar. 21 - Hard Rock Live - Orlando, FL
    Mar. 22 - House of Blues - North Myrtle Beach, SC
    Mar. 23 - Lincoln Theatre - Raleigh, NC
    Mar. 24 - Norva Theatre - Norfolk, VA
    Mar. 25-31 - TBA

    God damn, a SUPPORT tour!!! Double ticket prices, a band I have no interest in, and a shortter set from turbonegro. What a gyp.

    checked out "Apocalypse Dudes" the other day. good shit. about time somebody brought back the early 70s glitter trash hard stuff (KISS, Alice, Stooges, etc) and filtered it thru a post-punk knowledge.

    Yeah, I was hoping for a headlining tour as well. I'll be stoked to see them anyway.
