Autolux = cool
QOTSA = boring
NIN = good show

the Savvis Center was a nice arena, but it was surprising and very annoying that they allow beer/popcorn/peanuts/candy guys between bands. it was worse than guitar center salesmen trying to "help you". every 2 minutes another beer guy would be yelling in our section and $8 for a 24oz Bud Light/Budweiser is ridiculous. bottles of water were $4. shirts were $25 - $45. the poster was $20 and being pushed as a limited edition, even though not signed or #'d and wasn't that impressive.

Autolux were really surprising and reminded me of Sonic Youth a little.

QOTSA. it would probably have been better if i was a fan and knew more songs than i've just seen videos for, but i've always thought they were really overhyped, and they proved it. just boring. a lot of songs sounded the same, except for the video songs. they just have a different vibe to them altogether. the crowd wasn't really into them either.

NIN put on a really good show for 2 hours. a nice mixture of old and new songs, even though i would like to have heard a few more, but it was still good. the keyboard/midi stuff wasn't mixed properly most of the show. the projections were good, but i'm sure a lot of people couldn't grasp everything that was shown, until they showed mr. and mrs. W. dancing to sum it all up for them. it was funny though, whoever the guitarist is for this tour was running all over the stage like Slash would from GNR. he almost got nailed by Trent's mic stand on the second or third song. it ended kind of abruptly though, probably because of time restrictions at 11:45, and no encores.

and speaking of GNR, i saw on one of the electronic billboards that GNR is playing there on Nov. 23?
