Default QOTSA / NIN - St. Paul, MN

QOTSA rule. ROCK-N-ROLL! Great show. They played some great tunes off their first album which they didn't do last time I saw them.

NIN - Also amazing. The stage and effect design on the tour is top notch. I no longer share his anger/sadness so I wasn't as pumped up as I might have been in the past but it was still an great show to see.

Autolux was the opening opener and they were good too. I'd like to try to catch them in a smaller venue.

    This was last night btw.

Death from Above album is great. real surprising that its just a drummer and bassist, sounds so full.

Saw Autolux at First Ave awhile back. They were indeed quite good.

i'm going to the show in St. Louis on Friday. (yes, yes it would be much easier to just see the Dallas show but, it's a long story). Autolux is opening that show too.

how long is each band playing? i've noticed on the NIN site that start times are said to be different than on tickets.
    conformity will kill us all.

I wasn't really keeping track but Autolux went on at about 7pm and I was walking up the stairs from the floor to leave the buliding at 11pm

Yeah... they have a sound that I imagine would be really cool in a smaller space. So you can FEEL it. I enjoyed them quite a bit and will be on the lookout for them in the future. Theres' something about a girl drummer that makes it extra special too.
