a great show all around, as long as i made sure to block out the occasional straightedge references, some seemingly too aggressive for my enjoyment.seriously though, i had only heard one band of the 4, that being the headliners. the others (sinai beach, the agony scene, and remembering never) were no let-down either. i wasnt much for s.b.'s christian themes or excessive preaching, but the agony scene's punk-flavored hardcore made up for it. throwdown performed sepultura's "roots bloody roots" in dedication to dimebag darrell. actually the only downside to the show was the temperature in the sauna, i mean theater...it DID manage to cool down between bands though.

Thats wierd taht Sinai Beach were on tour with Remembering Never, since Remembering Never seem to hate anything that has to do with religion. They are pretty extreme atheists. Remembering Never has sick, sick breakdowns and dance parts live though.

Throwdown and Sinai Beach are both great. I could give two shits about the straight edge or Christian crap. I pay zero attention to what bands are saying anyway.

is it even worth booking some of those hardcore bands? i mean, unless you're making a ton off the door, i think i'd rather just have the night off. you have to have extra security to make sure the dance ninjas don't kill each other, and the bar sucks because the kids are either too young or straight edge.
