Sigur Ros Live ... thoughts?

The presale for tickets to see Sigur Ros starts tomorrow for those of us in the greater Chicago area. I was just wondering if anyone has seen them live. Cool music but not sure how it will translate over to a live show.

Ive been luck enought to see them quite a few times, and always at really amazing venues, personally i think they are pretty damn good, and to be honest a lot better live than on record. I would definately say it was worth going....

Thanks. I think I am going to check it out. I havent ever been to the venue where they are playing so hopefully it will be pretty nice. I think that if I ended up passing on the show I would be kicking myself for a couple of weeks.

We've been to their gig 2 years ago with a poster.
The sound was heavy and loud.

the guys that did some of their live backing, Amina, have an EP out which is fucking stunning. you should all buy it...NOW!

def. worth seeing live. ive seen them twice. it was really intense and really loud.. if you are familiar with the albums you really feel a difference when things start to build up. they are playing at the symphony hall here in atlanta in september. should be a good one.
