I went both nights.On the first Joe Ely was brought back for an encore,I belive he played a Buddy Holly tune.On the next night the asshole crowd booed him off the stage.He was great both nights,first time I ever heard him.On the second night, the Kinks played BATMAN,also Come on Now,so Dave Davies got to sing one.He kept sticking his ,very expensive ,Les paul ,black beauty , into the crowd while fingering the neck while those up front trashed his guitar.Actually,all 7 times I've seen them he's done that.Saw Ray Davies purposly fall, kinda dived into the crowd on another time in Oakland, in 80.I grab the poster,recently posted,two , off the telephone poles on the way home,one ripped pretty bad and tossed it a decade later.Hit Everitt & Jones for ribs ,HOT sauce, great night
