went the show in austin last week...blonde redhead was great and interpol was fucking flawless...no gigposters were sold at the show though...i see em here now ...what happened?

they are playing here in philly tonight, i think its sold out though. probably better i save my money for slint next month anyway.

selling posters at the actual show sucks. Most folks here would rather enjoy the show. Plus, that chauncy Jared did those posters...he probably fell asleep at the bowling alley.

Plus, Interpol's management company is notoriously tough on artists who want to do posters for the shows and then sell em during the show or right afterwards to re-coup printing costs.
I know of one artist that just got threatened with a lawsuit, even though it was an officially comissioned poster.
Interpol will be in the 99cent bins in a year and nobody will remember who they were anyway.... right next to the Strokes and the Hives.

Ive seen them twice in the last several months at The Paramount in Seattle...
Kinda strange that they came around so quickly but the second show was much better...
The bar at The Paramount fucking sucks asslips...avg. drinks per show=maybe 2 if lucky...
