In June there is going to be a reunion of the old San Jose punk rock scene. Everyone who was in the scene from like, 83 till 90 or so is gonna get together, hang out and catch up on our lives. While I was checking out the website for the thing I came across this site.

Man, I was at almost ALL of these shows. I watched all of these bands and kids create a whole scene. I was younger than most of the scene "players" but I saw it all just the same. I started going out to shows and partys at around 13 or so. Kind of young when i think back. Man, I was so into that whole hardcore thing. What a great time. It all meant so much to me back then.

I'm gonna call my bud Jeff from PSYCHOSOMATIC (he's in Sacto)....he might make the rounds for nostalgia's sake..

That is a pretty cool site. It brought back some good memories.

My band played out there in 90 and it did seem like the scene was dying out compared to all the stories I heard of how good the area was. It was still great to be there because it was winter and I was in California instead of freezing ass Wisconsin. I met a lot of cool people in San Jose.

It's hard to believe that was almost half my life ago...
