Pink Floyd-wall tour NY 1980. I was 14 and snuck out with a friend. We had tickets that included bus transportation. Paid $45 a ticket. Back then that was a shitload of paper route money. Worth every penny. No drugs or booze. Soaked up every sound and visual.

I'd have to say the first LasVegas Shakedown. That whole weekend was just one incredible band after another. The first night's highlight was The Monkeywrench.I didn't think it was going to be any better than that. Then the next night The NewBombTurks put a foot up everybody's ass sideways. They were so amazing I couldn't really watch anybody else that night. They all seemed lame in comparison. The final night was just one amazing band after another. Electric Frankenstein,Murder City Devils, The BobbyTeens, The Real Kids, just one great show after another. The whole weekend was topped of with an amazing set by the almighty Dictators.IT was the ultimate rock weekend.Nirvana at Mississippi nights in 91 was incredible too. And I've seen The Melvins kick all possible ass on more than one occasion too.

Dude, the Shakedown was one of the funnest swashbucklers I've been to in like 10 years! What a time that was. My band at the time was on that bill for a year and 2 weeks before it our drummer at 34 years old thought it was a good idea to get on a half pipe. Broke his leg. Last years sucked so bad. Total opposite. Tose cats bamboozled everyone! They wanted me to do this years poster and program etc.... I asked what the budget was. They said $100. Bye bye.
